He needed back-up. Unfortunately, the Rebels were hardly a tight-knit group. He didn't have a store of good-will to draw from -suspicion kept the Rebellion alive. If he'd known he'd get this stuck, he would've tried working with the good-guys and not the anti-Death Eater side. He'd just have to start now. McGonagall and a Potter? There were too many distractions in the Death Eaters' favor.

Blondie should've brought back-up. Of course, she couldn't have known how close she would be to this hive of misery.She would know who'd be willing to help spring her. It was worth asking. He'd have to wait until the others were done,though. He was stuck with clean up duty. He ignored the sounds from the other side of the door and concentrated on adapting the plan he'd been cooking up for the headmistress' escape.

Keeping Busy (Flashback)|Roxana

roxanazabini Ichiro liked to keep busy on his days off. It meant he didn't have to lie on the off chance his father wanted "father-son bonding time." Such times were occasions when his father was actually in Hawaii and only talked about money and setting Ichiro up with some wealthy real estate whoever's daughter. It also meant his scheming sister Erika couldn't rope him into "relaxing"--another family code word that roughly translated into "get over Caroline by doing something that could get you killed like jumping out of a plane, not dying, and finding a new lease on life."

No, thank you. He didn't need to have free time for that. Thankfully, one perk of residence on an overpopulated paradise island was a glut of scheduled activities and/or events.  This hotel put on a good show and part of the admission fee for this event went to local charities. And they usually managed to dig deeper than the history and facts someone could read off a cheap guide book. He checked his program. Fire dancers were next.

Ichiro slid his sunglasses off smoothly and set them on top of his head. He flicked through his travel magazine. The plaza was fairly crowded. He noticed a woman holding a cup and tray scanning for an empty seat. “This one’s open.” He nodded towards the seat across from him.

*is startled at first, but an arm circles her waist and his other hand weaves into her hair*
