Delta’s New Uniforms debut by Zac Posen and Stylist Icon Billingsley
do you know of any tips/tutorials on how to make round icons?
So I don’t know of any tutorials on making round icons, BUT I can totally show you how I made mine because the way I did it was super simple and easy. I’ll even attach pictures. I don’t use photoshop, so if you’re looking for something complex like that, this isn’t it.
So the first thing you need to do is go to this website called Lunapic. It’s an online image editor that you can use for free. Click on “More Upload Options” down towards the bottom right.
Next, click “Choose File” and find the image you want to make into a circle. To make my current icon I started with the square version of it. After you’ve selected the item from your gallery press “Upload Now!” toward the bottom.
At this point you’ll see your starting image. From here, click on the little dashed square icon in the top left corner.
This takes you to the menu for cropping images. Click on “cutout.”
Under where it says “Select Crop Shape” pick the circle, then drag the corners of the circle to where you want the edges of you icon to be. When you’re finished, press “Crop Image.”
And there you have it. Everything with the checkerboard pattern in the background is now transparent, and you have a circular icon.
Thanks for asking friend, I hope this helped!
