In 1983, Charly García released "Clics Modernos", an album that changed the course of music in Argentina. Recorded in New York, it fused rock with synthesizers, drum machines, and electronic sounds—a revolutionary move at the time.

One curious fact? Charly recorded the album in just two weeks at Electric Lady Studios (Jimi Hendrix’s studio) and used sounds recorded directly from the streets of New York, like sirens and city noise, to give the album a raw, urban vibe.
