@redsmokewc, a comic by my friend michael!!! we talked a bit about how gladi would work in red smoke and he even graced me with a name for him so i didnt have to come up with one lol

@wavesalwayscrash, latched onto that bit from warbler's colony about being named after your roles and ran with it. i couldnt picture him in the flock but i liked to have a naming convention to fit into

Fio'ui Tih, once a nutritionist and now an aquaponics engineer and galley worker, joins Greer in answering a question.

The baseline in the Great Adaptation setting is that no species should eat from each other's biotope. Some aliens, like Kroot and Tyranids, are able to not only consume but digest all biotopes, being polyecophages. Tarellians fall in the middle of this sliding scale - the homeplanet's destruction has forced them to expand their feeding envelope or die out. Homeplanet food has been reconstructed from what little the Tarellians had on their ships. Greer is well-fed, with a diet that's tasty, provides adequate nutrition and has no allergen risks.

(Top sign is LOGISCH. Greer is using fingerspelling in the hand here, Tih isn't fluent and needs to actively look what is being spelled. Greer is spelling 'K' for ko'io'nai, meaning staple grain, cereal or cracker. Signs used are NGT.)

The other night I suddenly got the idea to draw Whalemist with my sona Cacharias because they're both kitties with a whale connection (Whalemist via his name, size, and what he'd eventually become and Cacharias via being a cat shark whale thing)

I have more silly ideas between these two so there might be a part two but Whalemist has currently sapped my drawing motivation (that bastard) and I want to get these out there, so take them
