I love deeply Zazie as a non-human, deeply bizarre and unsettling being. At the same time OH MY GOD I HATE IT WHEN HE DOES SHIT LIKE THIS AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH

Spent like two days straight reading this nonstop and it turns out I LOVE romance when everybody involved communicates openly and actually seem to enjoy each others' company outside of sex, who knew?
Things I expected: REALLY good kinky erotica, supernatural romance, supernatural shenanigans, very big puppies, werewolves and vampires and witches oh my!
Things I only half-expected: EXTENSIVE worldbuilding, getting really absorbed in supernatural politics, discussion of the reproductive organs of vampires (the fangs)
Things I did NOT expect: bursting into ugly, chest-heaving tears during the scene where Nathan meets a necromancer alternative-life doctor who listens when he says he's still in pain from his wound, believes him, goes in to find the source of the pain, and fixes it
11/10 reading experience, thank you @thebibliosphere for writing the ONLY Scottish romance novel, cannot recommend it enough

It ain't easy being green in Via Memory Lane VII: part 24!
Peter Schaufuss' version of Hamlet was excellent, absolutely gorgeous music and choreography, and well worth it just to be within touching distance of Sir Ian McKellen while he delivers the monologues. Gotta say, though, if Sir Ian handed me a knife and told me to kill a guy, I don't think it'd take me 75 minutes to do it.
