iControlPad Compatible Atari 2600 Emulator Now Available

Every jailbroken iPhone/iControlPad owner/emulation enthusiasts best friend, Robert Broglia, has announced 2600.emu, a port of the Atari 2600 emulator Stella.

It's available now for Android, iOS and WebOS and adds a much adored platform to the already excellent iControlPad supporting emulator lineup.

iControlPad Christmas Coding Competition

Offering prizes ranging up to $500, plus a signed Pandora and iControlPad the Christmas Coding competition has been announced to entice more developers to adopt iControlPad support in their Apps.

There are two categories, one for brand-new iControlPad based Apps with a submission deadline of Christmas day, and one for existing Apps modified to use the iControlPad, which can be submitted any time until the deadline.

A forum thread is available for posting your progress updates and getting general help about adding iControlPad compatibility. Check it out, and get your code on!

This is by far the most polished and complete Bluetooth game pad I've seen. Even with the steep price tag, it's something that will stay with you as phones come and go. At the end of the day it's up to you if you deem this product to be worthy, personally I'm glad I made the purchase.
