its weird cause Icy is shot like a low budget music video... like its them walking around a city (is it LA?) so they didnt have to construct any sets or anything, the biggest expenses when it came to shooting had to have been the high quality cameras, following them when they were in taxis, and just like paying the random people who were in the shots i guess lol. they didnt build any stages or big sets with a lot of details, there’s literally a shot of chaeryeong dancing across the street from a fuckin CVS lmao. so, it was a low budget shoot as far as kpop videos go............ and that allowed them to really blow all their budget on the editing haha. just like dalla dalla, it has all those cool comic book style graphics that show up over the backgrounds and objects and stuff, but this time throughout a whole city instead of just one or two buildings that they filmed near for dalla dalla. they saved money on the shooting of the footage so that they could go reaaaaaally hard on the editing and idk, i think its cool haha. its not my favorite style of music video but it works i guess

like, it looks like one of the most expensive videos out there, and yet when you think about the actual filming of the footage used, it couldnt have been that big of an expense for a company like jyp. what makes this video look like something really impressive is the way it’s edited. the colorful glitchy stuff they add to backgrounds, the frequent cuts between shots that all look really well done, idk, im not a film expert lmao, i might just be talking out of my ass, but thats just what i noticed watching it.
