The snow was finally beginning to melt on the castle grounds, and in the surrounding forest. Ironic, really, considering Elsa would soon be leaving... almost as if winter had decided to pack up and go with her. For once, Beast was sad to see the cold go...
"Master?" Cogsworth called from the doorway. "Miss Elsa is ready to depart..."
The Beast heaved a heavy sigh, turning away from his window. "Alright... I'm coming." He had promised to see her off, and it was a promise he intended to keep. That didn't mean it was easy, though...
He left his room and walked slowly to the front doors of the castle. Outside, he found Elsa and a few of the servants, saying their goodbyes by the gate.
Lumiere, of course, was there to place a kiss against her hand. "Au revoir, mademoiselle. It was a pleasure to 'ave you 'ere, though your visit was brief."
