@icyshto​ sent todoroki wrapped both arms around ochako from behind , planting a kiss onto her cheek .

Ochako had gotten home not too long ago and was trying to figure out something to make for their dinner when a pair of arms wrapped around her and she sank into them like they were her favorite warm blanket. She turned her head slightly so she could return the kiss to his cheek, softly kissing his left cheek lightly. 

“Hello, Shouto,” she said softly. “Have a good day at the agency?” They’d been out of school for about two years and while they were working close enough to live together, they had accepted jobs at agencies that were more geared towards their preferred hero work so they didn’t often get to see one another during the day. Sometimes they didn’t even get to see one another because of their shifts so this was a treat.

Eyes lift, red hues meeting mismatched optics, this sure was a tall person. However, the kid isn’t certain why he had to be taken by the hand, by that teenager. Its not like he is lost or anything.

She was feeling achy this morning. Sleeping a long time was something old people did, she was finding out, but sleeping for a whole day seemed like made her feel even more achy then normally which in her case was almost more pain than she could handle. But it would last for much longer. She had to remind herself of that. And it was necessary for what they were about to do. As she slowly got up and stretched out her achy joints Ochako looked over to her husband and smiled softly. He was moving slower than he used to, but there was a little pep in his motions today. She smiled over at him as she shuffled out of bed and made her way to their side by side vanities where they normally took their morning medications together. No more of that. But they’d had the same routine for so long now that they couldn’t help but go through the motions.

“Good morning, Shouto,” she said softly, leaning over to kiss her husband like she had every morning for the past several decades. Her hand softly rested on his. 

“Ready for today?”

SHE’S NEVER HAD A CHANCE TO RELISH    on this supposed holiday, heck, she’s only   RECENTLY   heard of it. originally, it felt as if people merely joked when speaking so highly of this day   (  why create a food based holiday when that could be  EVERY DAY  ?    ),  but alas, it came  &   everyone surrounding her shared pocky with each other.  whilst people watching, sayu observed each of the students  :   smiling whilst sharing, laughing, biting down on one ‘till their lips touched  ...   she’s left to ponder if that’s why this event was invented. either way, she didn’t believe anyone would wanna approach her.

but then, after final period,  a certain someone approached her  &  handed a box over,  indicating his clear motive.  cheeks flared in bright pink,  amethysts peer at gray  /   turquoise ones ‘fore garbled noises broke out of lips.     ❛   t  -   todoroki-san...  ?!   i  -  i,  oh...   ❜    speech slurs to quiet, shy mutters, as fingers played against each other.     ❛   you wanna share this with me..  ?   um,  are you sure... ?   i-i mean,  i’d love to,  but ....   ❜     aaaah,  what the hell,  sayu  ?   pull yourself together.    inhale  &  exhale.   ❛  sorry... i’ve never had a chance to really celebrate this day ...  b-but,  thank you. i’d love to share it with you.  ❜   henceforth a soft smile creeping ‘long her pale pallor as lithe digits take hold of one pocky before looking back at shoto.      ❛  say... do you... want to share this one...  ?  we can bite down on it...  ❜

        “ o --- oh , todoroki ! “ yuuga’s ... shocked , admittedly. there were a certain set of students that yuuga had placed in some mental note that were , probably , too high up to notice his existence. a bitter thought , but one he had all the same. it wasn’t much too long ; kirishima , bakugou , midoriya ( though , recent events had changed that entirely ) to name a few that were featured. they ... and todoroki. so , sharing a snack , though a small act , still felt ... strange. 

        still , that false confidence smile stretches on his lips. “ i would love some , oui ! are they strawberry , by chance ? those are my favorite ~ ! “

❝ ━━ ✧ there’s chaos in the room, but that’s to be expected when the entirety of class 1-A is gathered somewhere. they aren’t exactly a quiet bunch, but the energy and smiling faces of everyone are so pleasant to be around! 

of course she has assignments and studying to do, but a pleading look from mina really was all it took. a little break from all the stress couldn’t hurt, right? even if she was worrying a bit about what she still had to finish - but like she’d expect anything else of herself! a million thoughts always running through her head. 

she’d been in charge of picking out snacks though, which was probably for the better. some of the others had weird taste buds or would be too indecisive. iida selecting the spread probably would have lead to grapes and carrots and a speech about how they’re all growing heroes who need their strength. 

ochako can respect that, but she also respects the wide array of pocky and other various snacks she has in front of her too. her eyes dart back and forth between the chocolate and strawberry, indecisiveness on what to have first. the sounds of denki and jirou fighting over what movie to put on reach her, but she’s still focused on her dilemma to pay it too much mind. her fist curls beneath her chin and she tilts her head critically. 

❛    this is a very serious question and a lot is riding on it. it can make or break a friendship.   ❜ ochako intones solemnly - or as seriously as she can. she’s never been good at hiding any sort of emotion in her voice, so the mirth seeps through a little. ❛    what flavor, todoroki?   ❜
