I came into the shelter as a owner surrender on 7/30/2021, with the surrender reason stated as person circumstance- moving - no pets allowed. Precious is on the emergency placement list for behavior reasons. Although she isn't hiding anymore and is willing to come out to investigate her surroundings, she remains apprehensive of human interactions and keeps her distance. She is uncomfortable with petting and will hiss and vocalize to voice her discomfort. Due to her stress levels, we feel that it's in Precious's best interest to move into a stable home environment as quickly as possible. Her previous owner reports she is shy around strangers, but is enjoys spending time around people she knows. Let's get to know each other a bit more...
