Wei was not entirely sure what they were promoting. His agent had dropped the job on him that morning, saying it was a last minute opportunity, that it would be good for him. Maybe it was not the best idea to work with someone from Nightmare considering the most recent rumors or the fact that Ahin and Jia were close, but it was a gig and it seemed mitigated for the moment. Wei had nothing else planned outside of practice. He needed the exposure, having never been seen as the fun one in the group. At the very least, he could be the successful one. And it would give him a new opportunity to promote 1nferno’s comeback, putting them in the minds of the public.
A quick glance at the the table indicated they were the new spring line for a company he did not generally use. He supposed that made sense; he and Ahin would make an attractive couple for the photos. He did not know her that well, yet he did. He knew that she was like him, an opportunist. Wei respected it, as he knew you needed to do what you had to in order to get ahead. He had certainly done some seedy things himself. However, he also knew that meant he could trust her as much as people could trust him: not at all.
Wei sat down in the makeup chair, preparing to be done up for whatever, hopefully normal, concept. As a young model, he had certainly done some weird things. He had come barefaced and had lost more than a bit of sleep since Danny switched rooms and became his roommate. Hopefully they could hide the bags under his eyes. He was so wrapped in his own thoughts, he almost did not notice when she was next to him. “Morning. Tea?” he asked, pointing at the table full of tea he had brought himself for the crew. It went with his charming reputation and would hopefully make them keep him in mind for the future. Though, he truly wanted to model soju. “I’m looking forward to working with you.”
