How to use the Usersnap Chrome Extension to Collect Landing Pages
The Usersnap Chrome Extension is a great tool to collect visual feedback, right in your browser. Click on the blue install button to add it to your Chrome browser.
Step 1: Install the Chrome Extension
Open the Usersnap Chrome Extension page in the Chrome Web Store. Click on the blue install button to add it to your Chrome browser.
After the installation is complete (which takes only seconds), the Usersnap icon appears in your Chrome Browser Toolbar:
Click the icon to finish the setup.
Step 2: Register for a Usersnap Account
Easy. Open the Usersnap Sign Up page and register with your email adress. If you have an account at Google, GitHub or Windows Live, just click on the icons in the lower right corner.
Step 3: Create a Usersnap Project
That step is easy, too. Enter a name (e.g. My Tumblr Blog) into the field and click on continue.
Step 4: Get the Project Key of this Project
Open the Project Settings (the gear symbol in the upper right corner):
Copy & Paste the Project API key to the Extension settings.
Don't forget to click on Save afterwards!
Step 5: Start Collecting Feedback
Whenever you see something remarkable in the web (e.g. a landing page you like, an error on your own website, ...) - click on the Usersnap Button:
Step 6: You are all set! Start collecting ideas and feedback with the Usersnap Chrome Extension!
You did it! Your browser has a new Feedback button! See the Feedback inside the Usersnap Dashboard!
