“Nagare.” The thief suddenly spoke up, looking over at the Green King with an unreadable expression on her face.
“Do you truly believe you’ll make this world a better place with your plan?” There wasn’t any doubt behind the question, just genuine curiosity.
She had joined JUNGLE at first because it gave her something to do. A purpose in life. After having ascended all the way to J-rank, she learned the true motives behind the clan’s leading figure.
While she did not go against it, she was curious to see how it would all play out, if it would even work in the first place.
The goddess had ended up in a new world, which meant she had no idea where she was once again. She was in a constant state of being lost, it seemed; that’s why it didn’t bother her so much.
Oh! And there was somebody whom she could ask for clarification.
“Hello there. Would you mind telling me where I am~?”

✔: A plot you would love to play out with your character
I’ll link to my wishlist but I want to kind of focus on Modern!Lenora and her struggle with her anxiety issues, as well as her issues with her Dad in the route where he comes back into her life OR the route where she’s an heiress and is wholly unsatisfied in her life. Basically, no matter what path I put modern!Lenora on, she’s…never really happy??? And I want to change that for her. uwu
Not even in a shipping sense, the general lack of Ichigen and Iwa (especially Iwa but I'm biased) is so disappointing. v_v;;;
oh definitely
like......... ichigen could literally see the future and we’re just.... not going to talk about that???
they were both around for the Kagutsu crater incident??? hisui was the green king for long before ichigen died, so did ichigen just not pay attention to the green clan at all because they must have known each other so how did he not recognize seigo??? what did CATHEDRAL do. his whole clan died what were they even trying to do???
Call out posts exist for a reason, to inform people in the community of abuse, and shitty ones don’t invalidate that there are ones that are doing good work. I always think of this really good post a while back, which said something along the lines of all allegations of abuse need to be taken seriously--and that doesn’t mean that you automatically believe them, but that they are examined with care and thought. I don’t throw out journalism as a concept because tabloids exist.
I have read call out posts which informed me, with actual sources, about people who were doing objectively illegal or abusive things. That’s important, that’s why call out posts exist--so we can, for example, warn our friends about people who will send them sexually explicit stuff even when they don’t want it. It’s important to look out for each other and doing that publicly is sometimes the most efficient way. I really do believe that.
I have also read call out posts which convinced me that I wanted nothing to do with either side of the story. Sometimes, the things that make other people feel unsafe are the very things that are required for me to feel safe. I, for instance, don’t promise exclusivity. I don’t feel safe unless I know that I’m not tied to someone and unless I know that they don’t feel obligated to me. I might break this rule on occasion, and go exclusive with a version of a muse, but when I do, it’s after a lot of thought, and it’s not something I offer in my rules because it’s very rare that I’ll do it. Inexplicably to me, there are many people who feel unsafe when others write with duplicates of their muse, and include this in their rules. And if someone breaks that rule for one of those people and that person makes a callout post, then I know that our RP styles may not mesh.
I have to admit, I’m really glad application-based, structured games aren’t as huge a thing as they were back in the Livejournal days? I mean, they’re still there, and people who want to be affiliated to a specific game can be, but they aren’t the only real way to roleplay anymore. It used to be that you could do like... “dressing room” communities for fandom play (which were mostly for playtesting muses you wanted to try) or places like dear_mun (where people would write IC posts from their character to themselves) for RP interaction outside of structured games? But those were really your best bets, if you didn’t want to track down a formal game like Landel’s or Amatomnes.
And the application process could get so damn stressful. Like, no joke, trying to get into Landel’s Damned felt like trying to get into a goddamn Ivy League School.
In general though, I think indie RP is a much better environment overall? I mean, it’s harder work, for sure. You actually have to put yourself out there and market yourself to potential RP partners, and a lot of people like, learn graphic or web design so they can make their blog look fancy or put together a cool promo banner. But those are useful skills! That you can apply outside the RP world! And that’s a really cool thing.
The young clansmen’s attention is drawn away from the hand-held game he’d been ate up in, the soft blue glow of the screen caught in his eyes as his attention turned to Nagare. The tone that Sukuna had taken was more serious than usual, completely contradictory to the next words that came out of his mouth, still spoken as if it was a matter of utmost importance,
“Do you think Kotosaka could get along with a cat?”
He was pretty sure Iwa would gripe like some old geezer if he tried to bring a cat around, and he didn’t really want to risk another cat disappointment. But the thought had crossed his mind while playing his game. In part, his idea about a cat might not have been entirely in his own interest about the animals, though...
