Giuseppe has strong homicidal ideations. He will often find himself preoccupied with a fantasy of harming another person. He imagines it in vivid detail, sometimes becoming obsessive with the thought until he feels the desire pass or acts upon it.
This has been present since his early teens. He would often imagine 'punishing' those that had decided to punish him; or his paranoid thought process lead him to the belief that those he wanted to harm were deserving of it in some way.
There were many foster care workers that avoided him around age 13-14 due a punishment leading him to writing out a fantasy of injuring one of the other boys within the facility for telling on him. Likewise, punishments were less strict in fear that Giuseppe would retaliate against them as well.
He did act on these thoughts in his early teens as well. Prior to being adopted by Deluca, he was taken into a foster family at age 15-16. He was promptly returned due to getting into a physical fight with the 'father' of the home, ending in the man's hospitalization. When questioned on his reason for attacking the man, Giuseppe answered that he was provoked, but later told one of the trusted nuns privately that he could not be' accepted' by that man, therefore he needed to act in a way that returned him to the foster care. It was that simple an answer and there was no remorse for the behavior; rather, he seemed quite pleased
Prior to Deluca, he was able to vent this obsession through boxing. After being adopted into the Castillo family, he was given the opportunity to act on the impulse more easily, being the underboss of the Castillo family. The slightest paranoia could be managed with violence and sometimes eradication of the person.
This later evolved into a love of torture. The ideations are often quelled through actually harming another person. It has become a hobby for him; and his impulse to humor is easy to indulge.
