My favorite vampire series of all time, in #towerfromthetop style! This vampire series is not like Dracula or Twilight but something all its own. The books follow a 5000 year old vampire named Alisa who believes she is the last vampire. Unfortunately she is wrong and soon discovers the vampire who created her is coming to kill her to fulfill a promise to rid the world of the creatures he created. She has made promises of her own, not to make any new vampires of her own. Alisa is happy with her life but she will have to make sacrifices to maintain her immortality and save the people she cares about. This series is contemporary, paranormal, sci-fi, and romance all rolled into one. There are awesome vampire powers, cool tech, mythological and historical intricacies, and a lot of action. I could honestly go on and on and still not be able to describe this series in the way it deserves. I love it.
