My BIR Tin ID - Yay!
I had a real struggle in trying to process my tin ID. I went over the genuine hardship (charot!) of going back and forth to get an update on this process through our company. In the BPO industry, most companies secure your requirements for you. They got me my tin no. and I never thought of getting an ID with it until I got into my next company. That’s when I realized how much I needed the ID.
So I just got into our local BIR office, but it so happened that the tin no. I got has this code coming from Pasay City, and they need this requested to have it transferred over to Cebu before I can get an ID. I went overboard and gave up due to our admin’s very turtle process who keeps on asking me to come back again next time. They kept telling me they were not able to contact the BIR office in Pasay and that they will try again tomorrow. So I lose hope until I left the company and switched to a home-based job. I also tried going to Cebu City’s office with a friend who encountered the same situation and got her ID at Cebu City. So we went there but was told they are working on IDs by batch and that we need a schedule for it. So I was like wow. now their system works like getting a plastic ID for licenses.
And so I saw this post on facebook about the online assistance. I come to know that there are now processors for tin ID online. So I decided to inquire about this processor from Manila and also tried to compare prices with the Cebu’s processor. The rate from Cebu was higher than what the processor from Manila offers. :D So I decided to go with who provide’s lesser. Because this job got me lazier and made me indeed very relaxed from the comfort of my home (lol). This is making me not to go out to crowded places anymore. ^_^ This process is quite costly but I thought maybe this is much better than going back to the city’s office and struggle over with the hassle. So I got it processed and they only require my complete name, birthdate, tin no. and address. I was then sent with a payment option which can be done through pera padala.
The good thing is that I have this application in Coins.ph where Cebuana is on their list which is more convenient for me to just pay it online. So I paid it directly and to my katangahan, I misspelled this processor’s last name and said she couldn’t get the money sent. Though it took me some time to correct this mistake, the processor was great that she had it processed on her end while waiting for my payment. As for the whole process, it took us 3-4 days. Maybe, if I did not have any issues with the payment, I could’ve gotten it earlier. The shipment was great that she sent it at 5:11 AM and I got it about 6 PM that day. Here’s the proof of my tin ID received.
This processor ships to various location so if you are wanting to get an ID and is willing to pay rather than going over the hassle of processing it in your local BIR office you can try searching in facebook for BIR Tin Online Assistance. Her facebook was named after that and she is legit. Proofs are posted on her page.
I know that there are people who are against this process but for me, I just find this more convenient. Thank you! :)
