Please note that Fireweed is the closest plant I could find to identifying this. Do not use this image as a guide for finding said plant. I added the fact about Fireweed just in case it is actually the plant I think it is. Any help in identifying this plant would be appreciated. If it is indeed Fireweed, this first paragraph will be removed from my post. Thanks! "A very interesting thing about this species is that it actually benefits from fire, hence the nicknames “Burnweed” and “Fireweed” Because of that, it can often be found in recently burnt areas. On the other hand, it does prefer moist areas but can also grow in gravelly soil and dry conditions to some degree. In addition, it can grow fairly well around people and in urban areas. Pollination of Burnweed flowers is done mainly by wasps. Seeds are then dispersed by the wind and are utilized as a food source for many birds. Burnweed actively competes with many crops, including strawberries and blueberries, making it a nuisance weed for many property owners and a good reason for effective weed control."-WinLAWN Taken Friday 7/17/20 at 7:25 AM. #Burnweed #Fireweed #AmericanBurnweed #ErechtitesHieraciifolius #IdentifyPlant #WhatPlantIsThis #Plant #Plants #PlantCluster #Green #Identify #Help #Dirt #Leaf #Leaves #PointedLeaves #PointedLeaf #Wet #WetPlant #Summer #PureMichigan #MichiganAwesome #Michigan https://www.instagram.com/p/CC5l3M_B_4v/?igshid=fx1fbmeuvrce
