Jetzt, da ich in meinem Wahlbereich Anglistik studiere, habe ich auch einen ganz anderen Blickwinkel auf das Werk und würde es gerne noch einmal auf Englisch lesen, besonders deshalb, weil ich gerade erst für ein Seminar Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead gelesen habe, was wirklich sehr unterhaltsam war, allerdings fehlt mir dazu leider gerade die Zeit. Einmal hätte ich Hamlet sogar beinahe im Theater gesehen, doch dann erkrankte die Ophelia und es wurde stattdessen ein anderes Stück aufgeführt. Pech gehabt. Aber wenn sich mir die Gelegenheit bietet, würde ich es gerne einmal im Theater sehen.

17: What was the last lie you told?I’m one of my school’s main musicians, so I’m asked to accompany people on the piano or play in our tiny orchestra at some event. The last time I was asked, a week or so ago, I panicked and said that my instrument had to go in for repairs. I didn’t want to flat-out say no, but I had enough on my plate that term without adding performances on top.
24: Do you have a collection of anything?I only really collect second-hand language books 😅 Whenever I see an interesting one, I pick it up. So far I haven’t really got that many languages, mainly German, French and Spanish, but I have a few Italian, Latin, Polish, Russian and Greek. I need to look into more languages tbh
74: What’s a song that always makes you happy when you hear it?I don’t know about happy, but LA Devotee gets me pumped, and A Peaceful Place brings back good memories.

Language stuff for Christmas: I got a book by Bastian Sick about popular but grave mistakes in German spelling, napkins saying: "My English is not the yellow of the egg. But it goes.", based on a German expression, and the "Fantastic Beasts" script!
