Lily laid beside Mal in the cramped hospital bed and couldn't stop the chuckle that escaped from her lips. Even in the face of death he was still cracking jokes, which was what she needed in what could be her final hours. The Doctors had given their final diagnosis', her family had said their good-byes, and now as Lily laid there with nothing running into her blood bar medicine to keep the pain at bay, she could think of nothing better than laying beside the boy who had helped her live before she died. 

"Nah," She agreed with a smile, her hand reaching down to gently take hold of Mal's. "I think we're much more cut out for the after life." As she said it she turned her head to look at him with a soft smile, because the truth was that Lily wasn't scared any more. It seemed she'd spent her whole life fearing the inevitable, but laid there then she felt at peace.

"…And please tell me Ty, what exactly are your problems?" Rosie couldn’t help but snap at him. The night had been a long one, another where she’d been dragged along to someone’s house whom she didn’t know, just to sit and watch people inject themselves with toxins, her boyfriend being amongst them. Then he wondered why she’d been off with him the entire way home, and of course, not wanting to start an argument Rosie had spilled some lies about how coursework was piling up and her mom was on her case to get it done, which had entirely backfired as it seemed Tyler was intent on fighting about something, so she decided if it was a fight he wanted it was a fight he could get.

"Is it your parents who love you and spend every single night worrying about you because you’re always out getting high? Or your big sister who you call from a dog to a pig just because she’s the only one who tries to make you stop? Oh no, wait! It must be that you’re so sick of your inconsiderate friends who are a constantly saving you from getting into trouble because you don’t think of them when you shoot up, just yourself! But of course, the worst problem of all is me, right? Because god forbid I should ever, ever think of anyone but you, the centre of my god damn universe! Right?!” She’d stopped in her tracks now, and before she could say even more that she’d regret she turned on her heels and started heading in the opposite direction home. "You ring me when you’re done being an arse-hole!"

Daze wouldn't necessarily say that he's either. In my opinion, he's more optimistic than he lets on, but at the same time he has those moments of pessimism that aren't even intentional. They just sort of come out. He tries to think of everything in the best light and hopes for the best, but he also knows that he has to think realistically about life, especially now that he's gotten this second chance to experience things. He says that the first go around he was more pessimistic than optimistic and now he's trying to change that this time, but I think that he was always pretty optimistic. He just got dragged down into some heavier things which left him seeing things in a more negative light.

same here, gdi timezones. i doubt i’d make it through work if i stayed up. but here’s me hoping you figure something out, even if it’s just watching it tomorrow night. i’m going to have to stay away from tumblr until i watch the episode xD

i was contemplating going to bed early and getting up in the middle of the night to watch it. the show has ruined me.

omg i feel you but i think it'll be 1am here when it starts and even though i'll probably be awake my parents will be annoying me to go to sleep -.-

and thursday is the only day of the week when i need to wake up before 8am very good timing cw
