Game show host that wants you to hate them, actually. because that dynamic adds tension, and that leads to drama!! and drama is great for ratings!
….ok so I was going to say the host of Idiotest makes me feel this way (“this way” meaning mad) but never mind he’s fucking awesome

One of my fav gameshow moments?
Idiotest. An older one. 3rd season. Visual word/puzzle games (it's very addictive).
'Celeb' edition. (I recognized not a SINGLE one. Must be like E-list celebs).
And the entire time these two guys were on a team, they looked like they hated the show, themselves, but especially, each other the whole thing. You could feel the tension. Like, no faking it; 'I'm here for money for my charity, fuck everything else.' (it didn't help both looked like 'I am smarter than you for sure' douches...and actually, they were pretty smart, but fuck them)
Anyways, these 2 actually get to the final round. 10k. One guy comes and guesses, then the next on a limited time. The taller guy interrupts the host as he gives his cheesy 'for a chance at ten THOUSAND dollars' by overtalking him and saying '100 thousand dollars!' The host, uncomfortable, laughs it off and goes you wish.
BUT THE GUY DOES NOT BACK OFF.
He goes 'how is it not 100k? Isn't this your third season? How are you not giving more away. Are you not popular enough?'
And the host who...is a terrible comedian just kept slopping thru.
But that's not all (tho that was the best part).
Every puzzle, even the EASIEST ones, to eat up time, the host asks why they didn't pick this OTHER answer, or mocks the answer they chose (when for this final puzzle they chose, both, the right answer).
As soon as the host did this, for the first time in the show, they team up and start badgering him like (paraphrasing) 'No. This is the answer. It makes sense. What you said is stupid.' And then the tall one gets louder and angrier till the host finally goes 'you got it right' almost out of fear.
An entire episode of two smart asses hating life, hating the host, and not even feeing like them there was worth it, then they call out the show, host, and STILL won?
Gold. Gameshow gold.
One of the best game show moments.
Watching an older show called idiot test. It was celebrity edition. Of course playing for charity. I didn't recognize like any of the celebrities. But one of them looked miserable. So miserable that when the host mentioned to his partner that he gets to spend more time with him, his partner did not look happy. Near the end of the show when they were about to win, he says I'm doing it for a hundred grand. And the host corrects him and says 10 grand. And the guy quickly goes you would think in the third season it would be worth more money. I've never heard anybody call somebody out on their own show right then and there. I'm pretty sure that guy was not welcomed back. They did win tho.
