“And who might be asking.” The assassin said smugly as he took another swig of the beer. He eyed the woman before him curiously, it wasnt often someone approached him directly.

“The wife of the only Whitechapel bakery owner. A woman who needs help” she said before sitting across from the man. Her speech was slower than most Englishmen were used to, every word chosen carefully through a thick French accent, and spoken slowly enough to make sense of them. She’d only been in England for a month, and studying English for two years. Even still, her husband insisted it wasn’t up to conversational levels.

But, she was desperate. 

“I apologize, my English is not so good. My name is Vivienne Le-...Harper. Vivienne Harper. If you are the leader of the Rooks, I need your help.”

Jacob was just exiting the pub with several of his Rooks when he spotted the odd man. He hadn’t seen the man before and for a moment he wondered if he was one of the Maharaja’s men, but that seemed unlikely. He wasn’t dressed in the typical clothing he would expect of one of the Maharaja’s lackeys.

But he did notice that he was eyeing several of his Rooks. Reaching into his pocket, he grasped his brass knuckles in anticipation for the fight that was likely to break out if he kept staring at them the way he was.

Ah it seemed he had been noticed as well. Whether it was his quality of dress, the color of his skin, or the way he carried himself Connor was no stranger to displeased looks. The Rooks however seemed to take offense to Connor’s curious glances causing the young man to stiffen , fingers spreading in case the hidden blade given to him by Haytham was needed. Never backing down from a fight was something Haytham often lectured his son on. The three green-clad people started to make their way toward Connor one of them retrieving a sinister knife from their pocket. He wasn’t worried about loosing; at the most they had received a small bit of formal training compared to his years of training. Connor didn’t want to kill them- their only crime was being drawn into this War unknowingly. “I would rather not fight you but it will not end up well for you if attack me.” Sadly they did not listen and the fight began.

jacob wasn’t too sure how to react, a pure moment of shock as he stood there trying to figure what is happening. having stepped onto the train and not expecting to come face to face with someone who looked EXACTLY like him. all he knew right now is that he was positive he didn’t have an identical twin.

The upper respiratory symptoms are usually the last to go when you're sick.

Its so annoying. I don’t think I’ve ever sneezed so much!

“Some piece and quiet for once…” He grumbled quietly as he made himself comfortable.

“You don’t mind, do you?”

She shrugged, adjusting her legs a bit more so that she was comfortable with the weight while she carefully removed his hat. 

“Not really, just no drooling, kid,” Rebecca playfully warned before she placed the hat over his face to cover from the light that brushed over them as the train passed the buildings.
