HIS BOYFRIEND…..AAAAA

Shou is…very gay about his boyfriend. He thinks of potential dream dates and various physical sensations he experiences with him like cuddling or nose boops and gets gay enough for Karkat to probably feel it across the multiverse. He’s worried about his own detachment issues–he knows it’s very VERY easy for him to drift away from people when he doesn’t spend Very Often ingraining them into his life, but as long as Karkat isn’t minding it too much he isn’t feeling any threat of that as things are and he thinks that speaks to all kinds of success.He wishes he could give More…he knows he could be much more active about getting in contact or going over to see him, and when he DOES go over he knows he’s offering lots of Services in lieu of much else but…he wants to Do Something for the man that makes him feel this way. It’s not a passionate love per say–it’s a comfortable one, with all the trimmings of First Love, and while Shou’s worried about what the end of the Honeymoon Phase will look like, he’s hoping he can find the place he fits in Karkat’s life and give him everything he’s got from there.He IS a little worried about Karkat getting tired of him, or worse getting tired of him and pretending to still be in it because he feels their history owes that much or that he can’t get anyone better, and him having non-quad other boyfriends both worsens and eases that. While he’ll still worry the others will be More of Use, the fact that there are multiple people there at least gives Karkat the freedom to feel safe in case he ever wants to cut Shou loose…Despite his predictable pessimism, he DOES want to hope for the best. He loves the man, and he hopes they can be their fullest selves with each other.
