They’ve been looking for Harmony for fifteen minutes already, the dark of the forest seeping in around them. Despite John’s repeated orders to shut the hell up, Rodney’s still yammering away behind him. For the most part, John’s tuned it out—which is a good thing, since it means it’s quiet enough that maybe Rodney’s not going to give away their position. Except John’s not convinced that he hasn’t developed selective hearing when it comes to Rodney that allows him to ignore what grates on others so easily.
