i just wanna kinda...talk.... for a second about the ‘statistically -- one of the duggars is gay!’ thing and how much people want a duggar to be gay...

people are always viciously saying ‘i hope a duggar is gay!’ in a very negative way i think, because people want them to have to deal with that. people always say it in a very aggressive way like ‘that’ll show em!’ and not at all in a ‘maybe it will open their eyes’ sort of way and it seems so toxic? people hate the duggars, i get it and bc of that they don’t care if a duggar is gay and has to deal with that stress (whether its staying in the closet forever, coming out and being punished, being forced to ‘convert’ whatever it may be...) they’d rather shove it in their face that one of their kids is gay

for example there’s always the idea that jana is gay, not saying she is but lets use her as an example... people would rather her be gay and have that shake the family, they care more about the headlines and the effect on the family than they would on jana. they wouldnt care how jana feels or what shes dealing with, they’d rather her be gay to force the family to deal with that. and it makes me so sad??

people go about it aggressively like i said but i DO think at the core they want the duggars to become more LGBT friendly, but michelle’s sister is gay and ive often wondered if that’s partially why her side of the family is rarely seen?? and i think IF one of the kids were to come out it would be a sad situation rather than an eye opening one and it hurts me (as a fan of the duggars) whenever i see people saying ‘i bet/hope a duggar is gay’

do i wish they’d be more accepting of the LGBT community? you betcha... but do i think one of the duggar kids being gay will make that happen? no.

Name: Levi Collins

Parents: Beatrice & Caradoc Collins

General appearance: I would say his almost permanent expression is a shy smile, like he wants to smile but he's not sure if he's allowed to. That being said, he generally still manages to give off a happy and friendly vibe!! He's very neat, I suppose you could say. He likes button up shirts and nice jeans BUT THEN HE'LL WEAR WEIRDLY BRIGHT SHOES OR THEY'RE JUST A WEIRD DESIGN IDK? That's sort of how he is -- everything's almost all put together but not quite. Almost boring but never ordinary. His hair is always combed, though. Good boy.

Personality: I'm thinking he's a Hufflepuff just like his grandparents, CUTIE. Mostly because he's almost frustratingly helpful but then he's so sincere and endearing that you can't actually get mad?? I think he's inadvertently nosy, like he doesn't mean to pry but if you're withholding information or you're sad but won't tell him why, he tries to get to the bottom of things himself. He's also rather bright but keeping up in school is hard for him so his grades are pretty average. But as long as he learns, he's happy! I'd say he would gladly befriend anyone, but he doesn't have a large circle or friends, just two or three who he's really close to/always with. His biggest fault is probably his inability to go after things with all that he has. He can be too timid, even with the things he really wants.

Special talents: I want to say he can play a random instrument, maybe fucking ukelele or something. In school he likes potions and...lunch lol. He has a gift for cheering people up, but by being both caring and also adorably naive and optimistic.

Who they like better: So far nobody can choose um BUT YOU CAN'T HONESTLY EXPECT LEVI TO SAY HIS MUM OR DAD IS THE BETTER PARENT. He has more in common with his mother but he loves being with his dad.

Who they take after more: Bee I suppose, but he has a lot of Cary in him, too.

Personal headcanon: Sometimes Levi likes muggle London more than the magical world and if he were the type to run away from home he would have run away to be a muggle by now omf. But then he truly does love...magic and thinks it's so...interesting and he's lucky to have magical abilities I THINK HE JUST FEELS STRANGELY BAD FOR HIS MUM SOMETIMES EVEN THOUGH SHE'S COOL WITH IT.
