thinking about what i want to do with the Choice at the end of the game

On one hand i DO kind of want to choose davrin to die. i love him but so far his romance is so lighthearted i kind of need to experience an emotional beat or i'll die. when he was first introduced i was hoping for a warden 4 warden final sacrifice drama and this is as close as i'm going to get. also harding makes me feel less than nothing so having her die would feel like a waste.

on the other hand i don't trust the writing to make it compelling at all and think the choice just doesn't make sense in the context of davrin's whole character arc. why go through all that just to have him fail and die anyways. i know it's ambiguous and maybe he'll come back in the next game but lmfao
