dad is recovering well! thank you for asking, sweetheart. <3<3<3 he's improving and resting, and even though he's very tired, he sounds good when we talk. I can't wait to see him in person, though! xoxoxoxoxo

haha, it was so great to watch with him. he really loved it. I said, "it was really great to see that even though special effects have improved so much since this movie came out, it's still a fantastic movie. what did you think?" and he said, "well, I don't know what it would be like for someone who had seen it a long time ago, but I really liked it."

8. An object I own that has sentimental value.

ugh, most of what I own has sentimental value. I have books that people have given me out of love, or because they thought of me when they read the book. I have books that had a tremendous impact on my life, for whatever reasons. I have books written by people I love. I have my beautiful violin which is full of memories of all sorts. I have things that used to be Grammy's, things that used to be Grampa's, I have toys from my childhood (most of which Cody has appropriated, but the teddy I got when I was 6 hangs out on top of my dresser with my tenth Doctor and TARDIS plushies, the teleportation robot that Jennifer made, and the sunshine pillow Erin made.) I have stuff people made for me, like that teleportation robot, a Mother's Day flower, Important Academy Awards ribbons, my magnificent K-9 netbook bag (and the incredible sleeve for Allons-y, Alonso! that goes with it) and the xoxo chain that hangs above my bed (a photo of which is featured as the header to glitterbubbles.tumblr.com) all of which were made by Jennifer. and my scarves and handwarmers and the pillow all from Erin. the bowl Cody painted with the TARDIS on it, and the Doctor Who drawing he made. photos of Cody, photos of friends, things I bought on trips, things people sent me or brought me (like the Knights and Dragon from Jennifer, the dinosaur from Sarah, the hugging penguins from Lottie, the pygmy puff from Erin, the magnets from Nickea). I have letters you guys have written me. and I have my TARDIS necklace.

... to name a few things.

10. school subject I was/am good at.

I was good at literature, algebra, and chemistry. I still love them all. I was okay at lots of other subjects (I was awful at acting, but good at being tech support, so in theater, everything went better than expected.). I was terrible at history and geography.

All my shadow puppets are incredibly racist and believe that the earth is flat. If only I’d taken them to this graduate program…

I don’t have drafts. I have Missing-e bookmarks. Too many drafts. I learned it from watching you, Jules. I LEARNED IT FROM WATCHING YOU.

hahahahaha, I just like to hoard things, especially pictures of pretty people or geeky greatness. 

or, I frequently think things need really great comments and tags before I post them, and then I feel inadequate to give the commentary they deserve, and they just sit there until they are no longer relevant.

I haven’t heard of these STMs (sounds like a disease), but I LOVE this. The fact that this applies to the batch of us is why you’re SO quality. I totally believe that you care this much for all of us. You’re unbelievable in the best sense, Jules.
