BTS TUTORIAL: IdolPlus
Idol Plus is a website that hosts various contests, many of which give actual trophies to idols during actual award shows.
It’s pretty much a staple of ARMY culture to vote in these. It’s also extremely simple. You don’t have to download an app; you can just bookmark the link to the contest they are currently hyping.
To vote on IdolPlus:
Go to the website and choose the English language option.
Login under one of your email or Facebook accounts.
Search for the contest you want to vote in.
Scroll to find the image of the group or idol you want to vote for, and click it.
Notice that I said you login under AN account. Remember those various email addresses you made for voting, streaming, promoting, and being a fan? You can login, vote, and logout, then repeat this process with ALL those accounts, plus your Facebook.
Then you wait 24 hours and do it all again. Contests usually run a few days, sometimes longer.
It is quick, simple, costs nothing, and won’t spam you.
No shade to the famous trot singer Lim Yoong Woon, from what I’ve heard he’s a stand-up guy, but if you let ARMY and BTS lose awards here on IdolPlus to his little old lady ajumma voters, you get to wear the cone of shame for forever. He's our only real contender. I have mad respect. But still, I don't like losing to him.
If you follow Jimin voting accounts on Twitter, they will remind you often to vote and it only takes seconds to bag our boys nice awards and street cred.
