hinta!!! you're so real for that bc tbh this whole au started as an excuse to draw dazai in pretty outfits and somehow here we are now.

Chuuya's mostly being an absolute MENACE in this au lmaooo. The story is a canon divergence au where they were both in the mafia, but when dazai left instead of joining the ada he got street casted and became an idol. Following asagiri's recent interview, chuuya did believe dazai to be dead after searching for him and not finding him. Dazai spent two years being a trainee, and by the time chuuya finds out he has already debuted two years ago and has a very successful career. Chuuya is very much spiraling about the whole thing bc, while hes not into idols hes sure people at the mafia must have known and not told him. So right now he's in the mafia, but the relationship is rocky.

He also kinda went off the rails and bought dazai's label before telling anyone about it, nor the mafia or dazai. He's on a mission to make sure dazai cant leave him again and the whole thing has left him feeling very possessive so he's gonna make sure to attach himself to everything

So really chuuya is being very sane and normal about the whole thing and not actively losing his mind or being a possessive little shit
