Why do people say "Oh its for women and gender-diverse people! women and nonbinary people!" and exclude gender diverse AMAB people Like if theres a person that uses He/they and is AMAB then they should be included in "gender diverse..." right? apparently not some people or organizations or whatever use nonbinary as another flavour of "female" and they end up excluding so many masculine presenting gender-diverse people it annoys me so much at this point just say you think nonbinary people are just women with dyed hair and peircings or... You could include non-stereotypical queer people in your stuff.. how about that

Part two to the weird breakfast story

So I am sitting eating my reheated pasta kinda bitter about the whole situation and I got a weird thought (that might be a little offensive because with tumblr you never know what's offensive) and the weird groggy 7:00am brain made was and idea for a weird short story where a kid (some dude age 14 I guess) is the son of two hipster gay men and they are talking about how the kid just showed them a hipster photo and they are mad at the kid because they only look at Unknown photographers hipster photos "none of that name-brand shit" is what the parents say and the kid then lies about the next photo he shows them saying its this guy who he doesn't know the name of but in truth he took the photo that morning and the parents ask who took it and the kid goes "dunno some guy who visits the town sometimes, must live nearby to get these shots though." So then the kid lives out one of those sitcom style things where he lives a double life for a week and I have no ending for this idea because my train of thought derailed when someone upstairs dropped a shampoo bottle

Water

There is a boat in the water

It is sinking

The boat was built from materials of stolen hands using the hands of stolen people

But we do not talk about it

The boat is sinking

Our grandparents are screaming how the boat used to run fine

That it is our fault that it is sinking

Weren’t they the steering it?

Our parents are in a row boat

They take it apart piece by piece and complain how they sink

They throw off the many so that the few can survive 

And we are in the water trying desperately to keep our heads above water

Our parents say we shouldn’t complain because we have life jackets

Not everyone does

Some are holding onto slippery buoys that are sinking in the water

Some have given up and let the water take them away

So yes I am grateful for my life jacket 

But it is a size too small and it is hard to breathe

I pray that our children will be able to breathe underwater

If they do not there is no way they will ever survive

I don't know if I missed adrian. he constantly asked me and I constantly avoided the question as best as I could. maybe I got over him without really knowing.. but I'll admit it was nice actually speaking/seeing a person who you've had little contact with since freshman year.
