Post-workout beer. I lifted weights, then did some ellipticaling. I deserve it.
45 minutes on the elliptical. I still feel lousy, but I feel a little less lousy. Now I need to eat something. I've only consumed 300 calories today. When I'm feeling bad I usually overeat but if I am careful not to do that I tend to go to the opposite extreme and undereat.
55 minutes on the elliptical after lifting weights for 45 minutes or so.
It’s a holiday here, so that’s pretty much all I did today.
The most ridiculous things happen to me.
I’m staying at my sister’s apartment and I went to use the gym in the building. I locked her keys in the gym by accident and locked myself out of the apartment. I had to hang out in the lobby until I convinced someone to let me in the gym.
Anyway, I got a 48-minute elliptical workout in. I would normally run today, but I think my leg needs a bit more rest.
Another day on the elliptical.
This is the first full-length photo I’ve posted in a while because I haven’t been happy with how I looked. I put on a lot of weight over the last eight months due to poor eating and lack of running. I’ve been watching my calories for just shy of three weeks now and I’m starting to see differences. I’m not sure how much weight I lost -- because I didn’t want to step on the scale -- but my belt has come in two notches.
If I keep this up I should be back to a happy weight sometime this summer.
I lifted weights earlier today and now I finished a 45-minute elliptical workout. Altogether, a pretty active day.
This is the face of someone who does not like the elliptical but who uses it anyway.
This is the saddest little gym I’ve ever used. Basically, what you see is what you get here -- an elliptical, an incomplete set of barbells and a universal machine that may or may not work.
All I wanted was the elliptical today and I’m really glad that I had one. I’m feeling pretty down and 40 minutes of cardio was a decent pick-me-up.
