New Shop Artist: Idrine Bishweka
Idrine Bishweka Nabishusha
Prepare for the prints and cuts your wardrobe has been longing for. Recent graduate of Columbia College Chicago Idrine Bishweka Nabishusha, aims to merge Western and African culture to create a fusion of modern and traditional clothing. Bishweka has presented clothing at various fashion shows such as: Africa fashion Week Chicago, Broadway to Runway, the word Enigma Present Power ( international student power exhibition), and Global Harmony ( across-culture student performance art showcase).
ShopColumbia currently holds four of Bishweka’s pieces including a sultry floor length red dress and a show stopping printed jacket.
Bishweka will soon be launching her own clothing line titled IBINA, where she looks to reinvent modern fashion while celebrating the beauty of women.
