We got the first two preview pages for Issue 48, which is still set to come out on the 23rd...

Hey, this is Nite and Don’s first appearence in the main series! They also seem to be friends of the Chaotix, which is pretty cool.

Issue 48 just came out, so let’s jump right into it!

So the Chaotix end up searching the sewers for a culprit, but when they get there...

HMMMMM I WONDER WHO THAT SHADOWY FIGURE COULD BE :3

Anyway, said shadowy figure ends up escaping, but they leave behind another clue for the Chaotix to follow...

So they end up going to a shipping yard somewhere in Central City, and they eventually find a warehouse containing...

BEST BOYS?! AND CLUTCH?!

Words can’t describe the joy I feel when I see Rough and Tumble show up for the first time in literal years :3

Anyway, Clutch picks up that Espio is there watching them, and a really good fight scene starts...

So it turns out Clutch was actually once a super powerful villain who managed to build up his own empire and retire, but because of what happened at White Park, he had a lot of his money and stuff taken from him, so now he wants to rebuild his empire from the ground up with what little resources he has. 

...but the Chaotix ain’t havin none of that.

It sure was convenient that everything he owned was sitting there in that one spot. You know, even though they weren’t there in the previous pages.

Anyway, with his plans foiled again, Clutch grabs the boys and makes his daring escape!

And that’s it for Issue 48! I really liked this issue, and I’m actually pretty interested in seeing where the thing with Clutch and Rough and Tumble ends up going. Also, Issue 3 of Imposter Syndrome is set to come out on the 9th, so we shouldn’t have to wait too long for the next Issue!

We also got the covers as well as the solicit for Issue 4 of Imposter Syndrome, which is currently set to come out on May 11th...

The road to issue #50 continues here! Enjoy a TEN-ISSUE-LONG adventure leading up to the EPIC SHOWDOWN in milestone issue #50.

Mission: take Eggtropolis. Dr. Starline, Surge, and Kit are ready to finally set Starline's master plan in motion. They've trained and planned extensively, but will Eggman bumble his way into a victory or has the time come for another to take his throne?

What I find interesting about this solicit is that in the one for Issue 3, it makes it seem like Surge and Kit are going to try to break free from Starline and decide what to do for themselves, but apparently they’re still working with him in Issue 4 with no signs of them resisting. I’m wondering if that means Starline will find a way to fully control them or convince them to stick to his plan or if maybe Surge and Kit are just going along with it to possibly double-cross him at the last second, but we’ll have to wait and see.

Is it a sewer-dwelling crocodile, a pair of unruly brothers, or something more sinister? Whatever it may be, Vector, Espio, and Charmy are sure to uncover the truth.
