The first of what will probably be several posts about the big commissions I’ve been doing. This is about the wig I did for this #splatoon2 #pearlcosplay for @dannigan_d_mannigan’s daughter for @longbeachcomiccon this week. I started with #vivienclassic and a pack of short wefts both in titanium blonde from @ardawigs. I added the new wefts into the lower half of the wig to give I bulk, trimmed then and the used #idyepolypink to dip dye the wig to get Pearl’s coloring. Then came A LOT of ratting and A LOT of #got2beglued hairspray. The final product is pretty nice, if I say so myself. And the last pic is a craft foam and #worbla crown that I’m going to attach to the wig before handing it off to its new owner.
