A thing I’m working on. It’s not too organized and clean, but I will probably clean it digitally at some point, who knows.
But anyway. This is Ien-Kout (Serpent Speak) or Artben-Kout (Divine Tongue), usually spoken by Lagai, some oojack, and most divine.
The word “kout” is pronounced slightly different in both names, the difference only being the t is silent in Artben-Kout. A lot of words in the language have different meanings depending on the context and/or the pronunciation, so the language can get kind of difficult at times.
Letters are usually separated, but when put into words they tend to be connected by lines in certain places. This can cause it to look a big blocky, but can be easier on the eye since there’s no lowercase or uppercase letters and how angular most letters can be.
Numbers also usually extend past the lines if using notebook paper, especially if they’re higher than 9, I was just trying to conserve space. And in conserving space I accidentally forgot to write down the pronunciations on the first page for these numbers, so I did so on the second page. Whoops sorry about that.
Again sorry for the organization. But if there are words y’all would like to know, ask me in my inbox and I’ll answer :3 (same thing with anything else you would like to know. Or you know… tell me about your day.)
