this weeks' episodes of the on1y one were kinda meh. there were some fun parts, but my only thought was "what is this school damn". just get some proper guards i dont know. you have hundreds of children in there what do you mean the teacher got kidnapped and threatened with a knife IN the school by the SAME guys who assaulted one of your students earlier?? and theres a robber in the dorms? but when students try to skip classes the guard appears out of thin air. like get a grip.
also not a fan of the teachers' vague love tiangle or whatever this is. i have no interest in them apart from the main characters (because the show didnt try to give them any personality previously) but now i have to guess who is into who? and i would be fine with it if they havent wasted half an ep. on them and still leave me without an explanation.
i'm trying so hard to love this show. i genuinely enjoy sheng wang and jiang tians' relationship and some side characters are fun as well. but the pacing is weird, i'm getting bored, theres no progress in anything and no action whatsoever.
but i'll wait till next week to be concrete.
