In this video, Douglas Vandergraph shares his journey of teaching others how to achieve their dreams and goals by discussing the feeling of being invisible and how he overcame it. Douglas reveals that he used to feel unnoticed, as if people only acknowledged him when they needed something from him, but ignored him when he had his own needs. This experience was incredibly painful and isolating. However, upon reflection, Douglas realized that he was unknowingly treating himself with disrespect and inadvertently teaching others to do the same. The positive aspect is that as an adult, Douglas has the power to change this pattern and start treating himself with the respect he deserves. He wants to serve as an example to others, demonstrating that anyone can take a chance, improve daily, and make a difference in the lives of others. Douglas hopes that through his video series, he can help at least one person, as Dr. Suess once said, "To the world, you may be one person, but to one person, you may be the world."
