Scraping the head stock into alignment on the freshly ground bed. There are two .0001" indicators on the test bar, which is 12" long. The original Monarch specs call for .0004" of cant toward the operator ( to account for reflective forces during cutting ) and the same amount is expected to account for droop in the bar due to gravity acting upon the 12" overhang. This is exactly what I have at this moment. So I am deciding whether to call it good or attempt to scrape some more out of it.
