In the next 24 hours, the Japanese government may decide whether to help pay to repair and re-fit the whaling fleets factory ship. Many in Japan feel it is shameful and outrageous that tax revenues are being wasted to prop up the whaling industry, especially when funding is needed so urgently to help those still affected by the Fukushima nuclear disaster.  Join them in calling for an end to subsidies for whaling.
