You know.

The more I think about this Ptah thing, the more I'm feeling like, YEAH LETS DO THIS. And I find that thought rather troubling because I'm pretty sure my deity collecting phase is supposed to be over and when the fuck have I ever thought, "mm, yes, Ptah," before now?

On the other hand, I find his presence incredibly stabilizing and he's got this whole "quiet vibe" thing that I like. I have always found his quiet rather comforting in a chaotic world where this Leo finds it painful that they seemingly have so little control.

That said, I keep coming back to that one time where I was poking fun at S about how I was going to buy her a companion Ptah icon and obnoxiously ship them.

If Nefertem shows up after this, I may just throw my hands in the air, cry a little, and roll with my deity collecting ways. Maybe.

Yo @igamuinacra (WTF TUMBLR?!?!?) I was reading your convo with Ptah (x) and I was like, Oh, man, this is Relevant somehow. So thanks, I guess?

So I’m dreaming about work and I pull out of it into dream nowhere like, “damn.” And then I decide to go back to it because I could fix something but then there’s Ptah.

Just standing there all Ptah-like only I feel like his scepter wasn’t there and his hands were clasped together. And he’s got the smile that I’ve been whining about. And we just kind of stare for a bit.

“I’m dreaming about work,” I said and he smiles. “I shouldn’t go back in,” I said and he smiles. “I should probably just go,” I finished and he fucking nodded.

I woke up then because I was just like, wuuuuuuuuuut.

I’ve been tagged to list things i like and like about myself

Considering I have had to face some uncomfortable truths about myself and there’s a lot of family throat cutting going on....I’m doing it.

5 things that make me happy :)

1. Waking up to my dog being cuddled up next to me...even if he is using my butt as a pillow and has his paws in my ribs.

2. Gardening. I enjoy planting things, talking to them, watching them grow, harvesting flowers and herbs... it makes m,e feel...proud.

3. Buying new things for my altar,. I swear I get far more enjoyment out of giving my gods random gifts than they get receiving them :P

4. My sister. We may not be born of the same blood this life, but our souls are and will forever be connected.

5. Watching movies with my grandmother, Call it sappy...I enjoy spending time with her.

5 things I like about myself:

1. My loyalty. If I call you a friend. I will die and kill for you.

2. I am stupidly sentimental :P if you give me a gum wrapper folded in a cool shape...I’ll cherish it for life.

3. My caring for others. Granted, sometimes I hate it because getting emotionally invested in random strangers i didn’t know five minutes ago and now need to fix their entire life so they’re happy....hurts. But it is so rewarding to see a stranger smile because of something you did.

4. I am very cheap (for myself) but love buying others gifts!

5. I rarely get the flu! *crosses fingers* its been over a decade!
