“Make America Great Again” has become a ubiquitous slogan: emblazoned on bumper stickers, stitched onto baseball caps and resounding loudly at every Donald Trump rally.
With a look at who owns some of the political sites and why, The L.A. Times featured this article over the weekend about MakeAmericaGreatAgain .com. You'll recognize our very own CEO & Co-Founder, Tessa Holcomb quoted on her opinion of the domain's worth.
However, what the article didn't mention is that earlier this year, The Trump Campaign acquired the ClintonKaine.com domain name for $15,000 which they turned into an Anti-Hilary News Portal. Two months ago, they acquired TrumpPence.com for $18,734 which redirects to DonaldJTrump.com and DonaldTrump.com as their official campaign site. However, although "MakeAmericaGreatAgain.com" was available in the same auction, the starting bid of $75,000 was never met confirming that no buyer saw value at that price point. It would be interesting to learn what value the Trump Campaign would have seen in owning their own slogan in comparison to a domain they were acquiring solely to turn into an Anti-Hilary News Portal.

Interestingly, the Clinton domain name was registered back in 2012 and the Trump domain name was registered in 2015.
