Letting Off Steam
With the full moon closing in, the wolves need to let off some steam.
The pub had been extremely busy for Roman, keeping him extremely occupied. This was great most of the time, but with the full moon now closing in, he wasn't his usual patient self. Given how little patience the man had to begin with, it was even worse now. He'd already thrown a few of the rowdier and angrier werewolves out of the place, but it was becoming a nightmare situation. It was louder than usual, with tons of arguments interrupting. Sheridan, the bar manager he'd hired for just these occasions, told him that he should take the night off. In fact, they'd insisted and practically shoved him out of the door.
He wanted to go and see Aolani, but their agreement had been that she would avoid him when it got closer to the full moon. The wolf, at that moment in time, hated the agreement, and he'd even pulled out his phone to give her a call. He'd managed to stop himself, reasoning that she would be busy and that, even if she wasn't, she wasn't stupid enough to answer and come and see him just because the wolf wanted to get his leg over.
Instead he'd called Ignatius, knowing that his best friend had been in a foul mood for a few days, and suggested that they go to some dive bar with loud rock music and just drink to let off some steam. He'd gotten there first, ordering four beers for the two of them, and immediately necking the first of his. The bartender took his empty glass away, asking if he wanted another, and the guy threw him a wink as he got him another. Roman caught himself from winking back, even though the wolf was licking his lips. Dammit, being away from Aolani right now was harder than he had imagined it would be.
