I know I haven’t posted in a little while but I’ve been so busy preparing for a talk I’m going to be giving on Thursday. I’m going to be speaking about the gender binary at a TEDx/Ignite event in Edinburgh. It should go up online as soon as the event is over so my talk with definitely be online on Friday.

It's that time of year again when I have students in my Business Communication course demonstrate that they've learned the five canons of rhetoric. They give Ignite-style talks, which are speedy 5 minute presentations where the slides auto-advance every 15 seconds. It's a lot of fun. Here's one of my favorites from 2013.
