| ★ |  “Oh...” Terra says blankly, as he casts a pitiful look at the puppy who is wriggling in his lap. It whines a little, and he pets it, scooping it into his arms and trying to soothe it. “Are you are you cannot keep it...? He seems kind of like... He doesn't want you to go...” Terra trails off as the puppy squirms even more, making the process of holding onto it rather difficult.

“You could at least visit...?” The brunet offers, as he moves to stand, shifting to better cradle the puppy. He had not been expecting the sudden responsibility of such a young animal, or any animal at all.

Yet somehow it was he who ended up with a puppy in his lap, and not any other person.

| ★ |  “Oh…?” It was young, looking like it may still need to be with its mother, all curious sparkling eyes, and a small pink tongue. Terra might have squealed if he did not have a certain level of dignity, and self control.

“Um… Is this… Your dog?” He addresses the man who had placed it there, snuggled up in the cotton of his pants. “Do you need someone to watch it while you um…?” He couldn’t understand this, and despite wanting to express the joy of having a puppy on his lap, maybe petting it, or hugging it, or both-

The brunet couldn’t possibly do any of that so long as he did not understand these actions, or just what was going on.

How to Care for Marluxia

First and foremost, ensure that you are ready for a long and arduous project–caring for your Marluxia will not be a battle easily won. Patience and persuasion will go a long way.

A cared-for Marluxia will begin by showing little to no reaction to positive stimulus. This is normal and should not be viewed as a sign of failure; failure would present itself as outright dismissal.

Be calm and forward, but don’t be overt about what you are thinking. An intrigued Marluxia is more open and complacent, and more likely to respond well on virtually any topic.

For long term sustainability, remember to stroke your Marluxia’s ego at regular intervals. For a longer lifespan, consider distracting him from lofty ambitions of power and mentions of Keyblades.

What’s something about your character that you’d like if you had to spend time with them?

Hmm… Zexion or older Ienzo’s rather talkative nature. I’m pretty quiet in person, and I enjoy listening to other people talk about a variety of topics.

What do you like about roleplaying ships/romance?

So, so much. The little moments. The big moments. The first times. The everyday things. The NSFW stuff. The relationship before they’re official. The relationship when it’s in trouble. Shaping in what ways my character appreciates their partner. Allowing my character to show a side that isn’t usually seen. Thinking of ways to expand on what’s going on when things seem to have reached a lull, RP-wise.

What do you dislike about roleplaying ships/romance?

That feeling when you’re not RPing the ship for the same reasons. If you want to RP just for the smut, find someone who’s also into it for the smut. If you’re looking to explore the ship slowly and gradually, find someone who wants to do that. The feeling doesn’t happen often, but it’s not fun.

Oh, and trying to write the relationship in trouble. I’ve had a few times where the fighting became ridiculously melodramatic, to the point where I just can’t read the threads anymore.

Who’s a roleplayer (or writer) you think you have learned a lot from?

I couldn’t say any specific one; I’ve played with a lot of people and read a lot of books (though not recently by a long shot–I think Deathly Hollows was the last published book I read). I learn from writing and reading a lot of different RPs and takes on characters.

How any of this had come to be was, at best, hazy. The last thing the Indian recalled was his servant bringing him dinner, and... That must have been it; his servant must have drugged him and hauled him out of his own home to sell.

It mattered little now, Xemnas had come to realize. But despite his currently unsavoury position, he kept his head held high; he was still a prince, and he would not allow for any further disgrace to befall his family. Not that they would ever hear of him again from this godforsaken country -wherever it was.

“Sold!” Yelled out the auctioneer, bringing Xemnas out of his thoughts. 

He made quick work of picking out the man who’d bought him; some strange white man with--.... Pink hair? At least he was attractive, but surely, that would be the least of Xemnas’ concerns.

As the money was exchanged, the guards ushered him rather roughly to the side of his new master. Perhaps Xemnas should have said something in greeting, but he would not deign to. Instead, he kept his eyes firmly planted on the sky, and his mouth firmly closed.

Large blue eyes studied the newcomer, even as their owner remained half-hidden behind the flowering bush. Strangers were supposed to be treated with caution—at least until they were given the okay by his stepfather or the other apprentices.

Ienzo frowned, quietly tilting his head. Even with known dangers like the mysterious creatures sprouting up around town,  he had a bad habit of showing too much curiosity.
