Well in the end credits of batim chapter 3 I thought he was facing away from us.

I didn’t catch on to that. I actually thought he was facing the monsters while the bright light behind him made look all silhouetted. I guess it’d be more dramatic to have him face the light, as if he’s leading the other monsters towards it, but to me it now looks like he’s staring at a wall. XD;
