“I imagine staring at the same walls gets boring after 25 years...”
@igodsend | because awkward claire & adam and now you have me wondering
After coming back from their Christmas trip, the blonde had decided to sneak into the city to visit her dad. Thankfully, despite his continued irritation with her decisions, they seemed to be a speaking terms enough to have lunch. She spent the whole day with him before heading back to the apartment where her and Adam had been staying.
She walked in and threw her bag on the couch before heading to the bedroom. As soon as the door swung open, Claire froze, jaw dropping in horror. “Oh--oh my god.” The scene in front of her wasn’t what the blonde had expected and something she hadn’t even though the other immortal did. Immediately, she turned around and walked back to the living room, hands on her face as cheeks turned bright red with embarrassment.
“What--I--” A loud sigh escaped her lips again, the image still burned into Claire’s brain. “OH MY GOD. Adam!”

The volume on the tv was off, but images flashed across the screen of the earthquake from earlier having taken out several buildings. People were stuck under ground, some where bleeding to death. The blonde turned around, searching for the other immortal.
“Adam!” She wanted to help, to keep them from dying. Her dad, both of them, would have said no. Hell, even Peter had told her no at one point. What would Adam say? Would Claire need to convince him?
