For the love of lizards + for lizard-loving @lisagoldfarb (2/3): an adult Green Iguana. Actually not green but showing all the colors. Extra big spikes and a horn (= Guatemalan roots) + the most amazing amber eyes! Gorgeous, right? He's also HUGE and was just grazing around picnic tables at Fort Zach. For @lisagoldfarb + the love of lizards (1/3): juvenile Green Iguana (aka American Iguana) - not originally native to Florida but now all over South Florida. This little one was part of a litter (?) at Fort Zachary State Park in Key West. I first spotted them in my rear view mirror crossing the path to the fort. I jumped out and just barely got two photos before they disappeared into the shrubs.
