Summer Job

I just got offered an interview for a job and within seconds told that I couldn't have the job. I've been applying for jobs like crazy and finally had a call back from somewhere. They sounded really excited to interview. When I carelessly mentioned I was taking summer classes they no longer wanted to speak with me. In fact they hung up a few seconds later. I thought the main reason to be here on a college campus for the summer was to continue my education. I've talked with everyone I know about getting a job. I didn't slack off either, I've applied for close to 20 jobs on campus in the past 2 weeks. I've only had 3 call backs. I really need a good cry right about now.
