Israel says they’re blocking food in Gaza because HAMAS is stealing food from the civilians and the starvation in Gaza is entirely HAMAS’ doing.
Let’s play Devil’s advocate for a second here.
Assuming Israel was telling the truth: blocking food will starve out HAMAS? And HAMAS still has Israeli hostages?
If HAMAS starts starving, they will feed themselves before they feed the hostages. At least according to Israel.
And Israel says they’re trying really hard to get the hostages back alive?
Hmm… no.
There is no reality where these can all be true.
Starving Gaza of their food supply to starve HAMAS would starve the hostages.
Palestinians have already been dying from starvation.
There is no long game where they can starve Gaza and expect to get the hostages back alive.
Period.
But this is a state that claims to be Jewish. Thus representing the Jewish diaspora.
Many Israeli civilians are happy to see Palestinian civilians die. Men, women, children, newborns. Be they Muslim, Christian, or Jewish.
Israel operates off of white, Jewish superiority.
Minorities, including Holocaust survivors, are treated like shit.
Denied access to bomb shelters.
After Israel bombed Iran without cause, the borders were closed. Flights cancelled. No Israelis were allowed to leave.
IDF buildings are purposely based in residential areas, using civilians as human shields.
Israel likes to play victim, but they have bombed Palestine, Yemen, Iran, Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq without having ever been hit first (the aggression against the Palestinian people has been going on for 7 decades. Long before October 2023)
Back to the hostages: Israel repeatedly broke the ceasefire agreement during which hostages were set to be exchanged.
And before that? Israel was bombing indiscriminately, and had no idea where the hostages were being held.
Meaning, they were more concerned about killing Palestinians than in ensuring the hostages didn’t become collateral damage.
On top of that, the IDF killed three of the hostages. Three Israeli hostages managed to escape, waved a makeshift white flag, and still got shot.
And what did they say? Oopsie.
Bombed World Central Kitchen workers in a marked truck while they were exactly where they had communicated they would be.
Killed paramedics, dug a hole to hide the bodies and the ambulance. When they got caught? Oops, our bad.
Killed more journalists than during the entirety of WWII in JUST a few months (following October 7th 2023)
An average of thirteen journalists a month thus far.
Mosques, Synagogues, Churches, schools, apartment buildings, and hospitals have been destroyed.
At one of the hospitals, the IDF forcibly removed staff. Including the NICU, where they were forced to leave infants behind to die.
South Africa has spoken out against Israel.
Ireland has spoken out against Israel.
The International Criminal Court has a warrant out for Netanyahu.
The Torah forbids the existence of a Jewish state.
Practicing Judaism means no Israeli state.
And yet Zionists claim their actions are because they are Jews, and speaking out against them is antisemitic.
Rabbis have spoken about this.
Jews, famous and otherwise, have spoken about this.
Bernie Sanders. Mandy Patinkin. Wallace Shawn. Gianmarco Soresi. Jewish Voice for Peace.
Zionism’s misrepresentation of Judaism is a breeding ground for antisemitism.
People being called antisemitic come in three flavors:
1. Those who legitimately hate Jews.
2. Those who know what Judaism teaches well enough to call out Israel on their lies and are attacked to be silenced
3. People who know nothing about Jews, but know Israel is conflated with Jewish people, sees what Israel is doing, assumes Judaism actually supports war crimes, and believes that they do actually hate Jews because they misunderstand the situation.
The rise in antisemitism has been artificially inflated by ignorance and lies.
Not unlike the islamophobia that grew due to the lies told about Muslim beliefs following 9/11.
Israel has destroyed boats attempting to bring food, formula, diapers, and water to Gaza.
Most recently, two of them were stoped and the passengers unlawfully apprehended in international waters.
There are thousands of people waiting to move onto the land where Palestinians have lived all their lives. Just waiting for the Palestinians to be killed or forcibly removed.
Imagine that for a second.
Let’s say… Texans wanted to move to Oklahoma. But Oklahoma is inhabited.
So Texas starts bombing Oklahoma. Blocking aid from coming in. Destroying crops. Arresting people for standing up for themselves, and painting them as the bad people. To the point other states start sending money and weapons to Texas.
Feel like that doesn’t matter?
Imagine your snobby neighbors want to force you from your home, bulldoze your house, and incorporate your land into a golf course where you won’t even be allowed to visit.
You resist, you get painted as some unhinged person who just hates golf. The denial that your property ownership was ever real.
Can you imagine it now? Maybe a little?
And now, the IDF is preparing to move in and forcibly remove these starving people from their own land. Land that is not Israel’s to occupy, police, or commit genocide on.
This is worse than what this country did to Native Americans.
Why?
Because the truth is readily available at your fingertips and people still refuse to believe it’s happening right now.
You can try to make this significantly different from the holocaust in your mind.
You can have a feel good conversation saying you would’ve stood against the Nazis.
But if you aren’t vocally critical of the genocide against the Palestinian people, they’re only pretty lies.
There are no gas chambers. There are no barracks.
Gaza and the West Bank are open air prisons.
Palestinians are forbidden from swimming or fishing in the sea.
When they go to the few places food is being distributed, the IDF opens fire on them.
This isn’t a war. It has never been a war. It’s a murder.
And whereas a war is worse than hell, because there are civilians… innocent bystanders caught in the crossfire.
And this… this murder… is worse still. Because it is almost exclusively civilians. Only a handful of HAMAS members have been killed, and that’s by Israel’s admission. (One of whom was, supposedly, hiding among thousands of innocent civilians in a refugee camp)
While people are droning on about the rights of a fetus, and labeling abortion as murder… without getting into it over the children whose access to food, clean water, and medical care in this country has been deemed less essential than our military, among other things… we are watching men, women, and breathing children be starved to death, beaten, or shot for simply existing. If there are any pregnant women in Gaza, whether you consider their fetuses to be human lives or not, they are not going to be viable. They will never get to be born.
And Israelis have been brainwashed not only to not fight against that, but to openly celebrate it and mock the victims.
Their mindset is: “the only good Arab is a dead Arab.”
Jews from around the world who have visited Israel have spoken to the treatment of Arabs who live or work near majority Israeli occupied areas. Treatment which they find abhorrent. Treatment which has, rightfully, alienated them to everything Israel stands for.
We can talk about the notion that war in the Middle East will lead to the end times… but “defending” Israel… funding Israel… arming Israel is not what will prevent it.
It is what will cause it.
Israel shoots first, and will lie to your face afterward. Claiming it to be self defense.
But that doesn’t fly for civilians.
Only for fascists.
If you get a battery charge for punching someone in the face, claiming they were about to hit you so you hit them first is not going to work as a legal defense.
