Braulio Bermudez - Mr. Simon    The awe inspiring Mr. Simon was brought to you by Braulio Bermudez. Although he looks old, he was actually 17 at the time of the film. Many people could not believe how young he truly was because of how old he looked. Bermudez initially auditioned for the role of Hayden; however, the directors thought Bermudez was too tall and too mature looking to be placed right next to the very tiny Maiko Nakamura aka Grace Urban. Instead of not giving Bermudez a role, they put his acting talents to good use. Fun Fact: Bermudez had the 2nd highest number of retakes for a scene with a whopping number of 86 takes. The scene in which he chooses to speak to Hayden at his desk and reveal his personal life was difficult for Bermudez to portray. Reason being was because he was not actually speaking to Chad DeSoto at the time of filming. Due to time conflicts, they could not film at the same time for their scene, so the directors had to use movie magic to make it seem like they were actually talking to each other.

Cassandra Evangelista - Alicia Vega    Cassandra Evangelista performed the role of the shy and sweet character of Alicia Vega. Although the role was very minor within the film, Evangelista dedicated her time to the production of the film. Initially, Director Romero was supposed to write in that Alicia was equal to Adam in dancing abilities which is the reason why Adam is fond of her; however, there was not enough time to add the storyline into the already long 40 page script of iHeartGU.    Evangelista did not initially audition for the role of Alicia, because that character was not offered. Romero wrote in the role last minute because he wanted to remind audiences how cute young puppy love in high school was. Although Evangelista had very few lines, her character showed up in many other scenes to show how much she means to Adam. Fun Fact: Evangelista was one of the first members to see the secret ending to the film. Once the movie ended, she looked at Romero completely stunned and began to tear.
