@ihrulan grows impatient
He paced like an animal. Perhaps that was all he was to the Atreides - an exotic animal to be caged and displayed in a show of power. He was yet still dressed in the style he had taken to in the past year and a half- the loose woolen tunic and pants belted at the waist, heavily embroidered at collar and hems. It was the garb of a Geidi Prime farmer or rustic not the Ixian inspired garments favored by the capitol at Harko or his Uncle.
He stopped and spun on the balls of his foot not unlike a mentat who had died in this almost exact place. He had learned it, imitating him as a child. But the man the opening door faced was almost entirely his own.
There was work and improvement to be done but it might even be accomplished now that he was free from power.
His breath caught when he recognized the cold gold hair and bowed low as a commoner would be expected to bow before the Padishah Emperor or Empress. Afterall he and the Harkonnen name were nothing now.
“And to what do I owe this honor, majesty?” He asked as he lifted his head, still as impudent as ever. “Shall your fair hands be what leads me to the executioner’s block? Or do they have other, more savage ways of disposing of a man on this rock?”
